7.1Verified guest“A very comfortable stay. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable, giving me a solid night's sleep. The handmade sewn linens were a nice extra touch. Staff were friendly and took care of all our tourist requests. Being close to the Line 2 Metro and Dong Seoul Bus Terminal was very handy. I'd recommend it for a cheap and pleasant trip.”
7.1Verified guest“We had a car so Lotte World was only a 5-minute drive. It did the job for us and we'd stay again.”
7.1Verified guest“I chose it for the proximity to Dongseoul Bus Terminal for an early morning bus – it's a 3-5 minute walk from both the terminal and the subway station. Staff were very helpful, even writing my bus destination in Korean for the ticket. The room was comfortable with enough space for a large suitcase, and it had its own computer with LAN internet (Wi-Fi is only on the first floor). The yellow, white and black colour scheme was funky. There are convenience stores, coffee shops and local restaurants nearby, some open very late. The marble floors seemed heated. I didn't try breakfast as I had a 6:30 am bus, but the sign mentioned American and Korean options. Overall, decent value.”
7.1Verified guest“Great location near public transport. Reception staff were helpful and the double bed was comfortable. Peaceful, good sleep, free Wi-Fi and handy shower amenities. Close to restaurants and a convenience store.”
7.1Verified guest“The service is kind and warm-hearted.”
7.1Verified guest“Polite and helpful staff, comfortable double bed and a quiet, restful night. Location was excellent – close to Gangbyeon station for easy transport. Free Wi-Fi and the complimentary shower toiletries were good. Restaurants nearby and a convenience store across the street.”

The bottom line
Dong Seoul Hotel works best as a practical, well-run base for travellers prioritising transport links – the metro and bus terminal are minutes away – over a central location. It's clean, quiet and the staff are a genuine highlight, but its scores suggest it's a functional stay rather than a destination in itself.
